Demystify income tax for salaried individuals by providing a trustworthy, ad‑light, mobile‑fast tool with plain‑language explanations.
Independence
Not affiliated with SARS. Tax tables are sourced from official public releases; calculations are reproducible using the published methodology.
Data & Privacy
No personal identifiers or calculation inputs are stored server-side. All computations run locally. Analytics are aggregated and anonymised.
Accuracy
We focus on core PAYE, rebates, thresholds and UIF. Complex deductions (RA, medical scheme credits) may be added in future iterations.
Openness
Key logic is modular and inspectable (see constants & compute modules). Planned: public Git repository for transparency & community feedback.
